Bucks T4 is a restaurant and lodging establishment located in Big Sky, MT. The restaurant’s name says a lot about the restaurant, but, there is one caveat, you must know how to read cattle brands. Montana has some of the largest ranches in the United States and each rancher has their own branding for cattle.
The restaurants ambiance is warm, feels local, and hospitable. The restaurant can accommodate an intimate dinner for 2 or booth seating for larger parties. The menu offers everything most steak lovers would enjoy. During my visit I opted for the Red Deer Medallions Arancini which was served in a huckleberry glacé with fingerling potatoes and the vegetable of the day, on this evening it happened to be a delicious broccoli and carrot medley. The meat was cooked med-rare. Quite delicious. The red deer was cooked to perfection and was served with great presentation. The huckleberry martini was a nice touch to the meal. Bucks T4 has an extensive wine menu. Most wines can be purchased by the glass or you may purchase a bottle for your table. If you are a wine lover, I suggest taking your time to observe the wine list.
The restaurant staff is friendly and this place has a come as you are vibe without pretension. Just good local food. If you are visiting Big Sky take a moment to have dinner at Bucks T4. Don’t forget to take a moment to decode the many ranch names. Interesting indeed!
